Welcome to WWCW! Over on my Instagram, I told you guys to send me some suggestions and I’ll come up with an outfit for my favourite ones. There were some questionable ones in the mix, but I chose 4 suggestions that couldn’t be further apart.
If you didn’t get a chance to leave a suggestion, make sure to follow @WhatCaitlinSays on Instagram and keep an eye on my stories!
Dressing for concerts has become so much more exciting over the last few years. There’s more of a collective agreement amongst fans to dress to a theme and artists have embraced this. So depending on whose concert im going to, im going to lean into certain styles or themes aka feather boas for Harry, silver for Bey’s Renaissance and the shortest shorts I own for Meagan thee Stallion.
My top priority at concerts is my comfort, I need to be able to stand for a long time, dance, and be warm enough. I obviously want to look good too, so I’d wear a statement piece and style it with boots or trainers. Depending on the weather and when im going I’d opt for a cargo skirt (I find them comfier, and just cooler overall, than denim skirts) or some loose jeans.

I chose this suggestion because it made me giggle but also because theres a very specific look to stick to I this situation and it took some research to get down to a t. Im picturing a 50-60 year old male so refined is key! Above the knee works but no shorter than mid thigh. I hear figure hugging dress is the go to, you want to look soft and feminine but also classy.
This is all completely hypothetical so in a more casual setting for example, coffee shop or a walk, I would want to look a little more cultured and chic. I would go with jeans or even chinos, a tight fitting tee or bandeau top with a shawl or cardigan over the shoulders to preserve that classy look.

I love a good running errands fit. I always take inspiration from the 2010’s off duty model look combined with my love for a good tracksuit. I normally go for something sporty like athleisure because running errands is a workout and I want to look the job.
The girls know, the matching gym set is the cheat code for errands. Its comfortable, you can dress it up with accessories and a light beat and it looks cute and casual every time. If i’m not in leggings ill opt for a tracksuit, I have a hefty collection but my favourites are the Superdry straight leg joggers and the CRTZ Alcatraz logo joggers.

Ending on a high note, the last suggestion i’m dressing for today is Church! This suggestion isn’t like the others because most Churches has a dress code, wether its stated or assumed by attendees, everyone is dressed modestly and tastefully but that doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish.
I would start with a longline, slightly loose, lounge dress. I love lounge dresses because they’re super easy to dress up for the right occasion. Over top I would layer a knit crewneck or cardigan and pair the outfit with lace up loafers or sandals in summer.
